Kwesta na cmentarzach
Saturday, 15 November 2008

Łącznie zebrały 82 tys. zł., najwięcej w Krośnie – 22,1 tys., Łańcucie – 18,6 tys. i Sanoku – 14,6 tys. Kwestowały również koła dolnośląskie – tu najwięcej zebrano we Wrocławiu (25,6 tys. zł).
Wszystkim ofiarodawcom serdecznie dziękujemy! Jesienią i zimą koszty placówek rosną (ogrzewanie, energia, więcej mieszkańców) i te pieniądze są bardzo potrzebne.

According to the article “Miliony za działkę” (Millions for the parcel) published in Gazeta Wyborcza in Katowice, Novemer 24, the Saint Brother Albert’s Aid Society received the parcel in Swierklaniec in compensation for the loss of property during the time Poland was a Socialist Republic.
We would like to inform that the author of the article must have confused the names of two societies – the case in question concerns other society bearing a similar name.
Our Society, established in November 2, 1981, has never applied for any compensation.
We will request a correction.
