On Sunday, 18 June, at the Warsaw St. James the Apostle’s church a solemn Holy Mass was celebrated on the occasion of our Patron’s day and the twenty fifth anniversary of the Society. Symbolic gift of the altar was bread which was shared among those assembled after the Holy Mass.

After the Holy Mass there was a concert for the Society performed by Krzysztof Fetras and his band of jazz guitarists – The Guitar Orchestra. The musicians presented well-known jazz standards and the concert closed with “Barka,” the song close to our hearts.

The event attracted benefactors from the Warsaw circle, occupants of our institutions, workers and members of the Society as well as numerous students from a university chaplaincy. It was the amazing meeting of the people representing different age groups.
