On 16 June 2007 in Stara Warta canal (Gorzow Wielkopolski), the angling competition took place, in which 11 present and former occupants of the St. Brother Albert’s Home and Maria Juchacz Social Aid Centre participated.  Because of changeable weather the competition had to be finished earlier. In spite of difficulties, a former occupant of St. Brother Albert’s Home, Witold, was selected a winner. The competition has been organized by the Gorzow Circle of our Society for 5 years. All contestants receive commemorative diplomas and in-kind prizes, and the winner – a cup. Unfortunately, this year the weather did not allow us to feast together.
