11 people connected with St. Brother Albert’s Aid Society, Branch in Przemysl, including 8 inhabitants of the shelter, have taken part in the pilgrimage of Archdiocese of Przemysl to Jasna Gora Monastery. The pilgrimage started on July 4 and ended on July 15. One of the pilgrims, Pawel Marosek, has made the pilgrimage for the 13th time.
As every year, we set out to Czestochowa by bus to greet the pilgrims on their entry to Blessed Virgin Mary, to take part in the Holy Mass and come back together. On the way back we have been singing, listening to pilgrims’ stories, we have also visited Sanctuary in Lagiewniki and finally we had a picnic near Tarnow. The leader of our group this year was priest Bronislaw Zolnierczyk who had such an interesting program that didn’t let anyone get bored during the trip. We left Przemysl at 0.30 a.m. and came back at 0.15 but we were not very tired – the visit to Blessed Virgin Mary in Jasna Gora has certainly given us strength. Henryk Hass |
