On the 23rd of April 2006 the Lublin circle as well as occupants and workers of Lonely Mother’s Home celebrated great event: consecration of the chapel and leading of the Holy Sacrament in.

We turned the biggest, renovated room of our home into a chapel and vestry. Renovation lasted about 2 months. The main wall has an alcove, in which there is a big picture of Divine Mercy. Three huge windows ensure much light therefore the alcove is bright and cosy. There is a mood of prayer in the chapel because of the presence of the Holy Sacrament and the beautiful picture.
After those preparations and agreement of His Eminence the Archbishop Jozef Zycinski a ceremony of welcoming Jesus as the most important occupant of our home took place. We wanted it to be on the Divine Mercy Holiday.
The first solemn Holy Mass took place on the 23rd of April 2006 at 20 p.m. A lot of guests arrived, the chapel was beautifully decorated with flowers, everybody was dressed in their best, the atmosphere was solemn and even children were excited and did not disturb.
Father Jozef Brzozowski consecrated the chapel, the altar and the picture. The Mass was celebrated by four priests and a homily on Divine Mercy was preached by Father Miroslaw Kawczynski. After the Holy Mass everyone was invited to a ceremonial supper, during which one could talk and be pleased with that great holiday of our Home.
