On Sunday, 24 September, the Sanok Circle of our Society celebrated the fifteenth anniversary of its activity. A celebration started with a camp service celebrated by the prelate Michal Drabicki, founder of the Circle, near the Disabled Homeless House. Then there was a dinner, a meeting at the eating place and a performance by the pupils from music school. In the celebration took part the mayor of Sanok, Mr. Wojciech Blecharczyk, numerous members of the circle, guests from neighbouring circles and the Chairman of the Society, Bohdan Aniszczyk. The Sanok Circle is one of the biggest circles of the Society – it runs the Disabled Homeless House, Social Aid Centre, a soup kitchen, a bath house, a clothes distribution centre and Motivation Centre for the homeless. For some years the circle is also undertaking a great task – a major renovation and conversion of a great building into a hospice. From the beginning the leader of the circle is Mrs.Wanda Wojtuszewska supported by a group of regular volunteers.
