The collection of money on All Saints’ Day is one of the forms of raising funds for the institutions working with the homeless. Among other purposes it is meant to remind the society about the homeless and those living in poverty. It is most popular in Podkarpacie where as many as 8 circles (Jaroslaw, Krosno, Lancut, Mielec, Przemysl, Sanok and Stalowa Wola) have participated in raising the money. 82 thousand zloty is the total amount collected this year, top three cities are: Krosno – 22,1 thousand, Lancut – 18,6 thousand, Sanok – 14,6 thousand. Circles in Dolny Slask have also took part in collecting the donations and it was in Wroclaw where the largest amount of money has been collected – 25,6 thousand zloty. We would like to thank the donors for the charity. The cost of maintaining the institutions is usually higher in autumn and winter (heating, electricity, growing number of inhabitants) and so we need the money for this purpose.
