The 29th Walking Pilgrimage to Jasna Gora from Przemysl reached its halfway point today, on July 8. Our brothers from the shelter in Przemysl are among the pilgrims. I have visited them today and I’ve experienced the hardships of walking from Paszczyna to Zasow in the company of Human Liberties Crusade members.
Today was devoted to testimonies of sobriety and fighting addictions. Father Zbigniew Suchy, Director of “Niedziela” section in Przemysl gave an interesting lecture: “each of us must meet another person on our way to salvation…”. We are wandering and admiring beautiful Polish towns and villages, far away from the turmoil… We are taking a break in Mokre village where we can see a beautiful chapel devoted to commemoration of martyrdom of Poles: “Ashes of AK soldiers from Mokre deported to Russia by NKWD in 1944”. It is such a beautiful way to preserve our national memory. Henryk |
