The 12th edition of charity auction called “Blizniemu swemu” has just started. On Tuesday 1st December Zacheta National Gallery of Art opened the first pre-auction exhibition with 271 works donated by 239 artists.
Magdalena Zawadzka conducted a preview attended by over 100 guests – artists, members and supporters of TPBA Society as well as politicians – Senators Stanislaw Piotrowicz and Wladyslaw Ortyl. Actor Marian Opania read reflections of Stefan Zeromski and Pope John Paul II on St. Brother Albert and afterwards guests shared bread, which is a TPBA custom. The exhibition is open till 11th December. We would like to encourage to see the exhibition and also to take part in an auction in Rzeszów on 21st March 2010. Works donated to this auction will also be presented in Wrocłlw, Krakow, Katowice and Rzeszow. For more information visit “Blizniemu Swemu” Foundation website . |
