The exhibition „Blizniemu swemu...” has just come to Wroclaw from Zacheta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw. From among 271 works donated by famous Polish artists in aid of the homeless and poor in TPBA facilities, only 100 can be seen in Wroclaw Town Hall.
A preview on December 16th was attended by Bishop Andrzej Siemieniewski, Wroclaw artists, e.g. Eugeniusz Get-Stankiewicz, representatives of the authorities, e.g. Deputy Mayor Jarosław Obremski and members as well as supporters of our Society including the President of St. Brother Albert’s Aid Society Bohdan Aniszczyk and the President of “Blizniemu Swemu...” Foundation, Emil Jurkiewicz. The performance of Wroclaw jazzmen, Zbigniew Czwojda and Marek Markowski, intensified the pleasure of watching the exhibition. The exhibition is open till 23 December so anyone wishing to watch it should hurry up. An auction of all the works donated by the artists will take place in BWA in Rzeszow on 21 March 2010.
